MCSA developed these products for the Apple Newton. The design and proprietary algorithms are available for custom development or porting to other platforms, though these applications are no longer actively supported. Please contact us if you would like more information.

Bond Analyzer

The Bond Analyzer performs sophisticated bond analysis previously only available on desktop machines or from service bureaus. The Analyzer keeps a database of commonly calculated bonds (up to 12,000) for quick re-calculation.

Bond Calculator

The Bond Calculator performs the same calculations as the Analyzer, but does not include some of the database and ticket generation features.

The Calculator supports Treasuries, Corporates, Municipals, zero-coupon and callable bonds. It calculates standard single-value statistics (yields, durations, convexity, spreads, accrued interest, day counts, etc.).

The Analyzer Component

You can use the Analyzer Component to add the analysis functions of the Bond Analyzer to your custom application.

With the Analyzer Component you can calculate yields, durations, day counts and accrued interest as well as perform Horizon Analysis and generate price/yield tables.

Frames and methods to automatically graph results, install, import, update, and maintain a database, generate tickets, and print, fax, or mail results are also available.

Custom Analyzers

If you have specific requirements or custom pricing models, MCSA can develop and configure a hand-held analyzer to meet your company's requirements.

You can choose from industry standard pricing models, or we can work with you to implement your proprietary models within our base analyzer framework. You can take advantage of the Bond Analyzer's standard facilities for database, ticket generation, graphing, and networking.

MCSA is developing Market Monitor, a hand-held NewtonTM- based product that lets you follow the market and transact anywhere, anytime.View stocks, bonds, options, foreign exchange - whatever market you have wireless access to.

Real-time & historical graphs, updated as the prices arrive
Keep a database of security information (up to 6000 securities) and a record of transactions
Search database by Name, CUSIP, Maturity, Security Type, etc
Price updates are highlighted as they arrive
